There are different types of yoga that you can choose that can help you with your meditation and as your daily exercise. It’s up to you to choose the best type of yoga that suits your personality, your intensity level of fitness and even your lifestyle. Below are some of the types that you can choose from:
HATHA
This is the most common type of yoga especially for beginners. This type is also suggested for those who are not into exercising, pregnant women and even to senior citizens. Breathing is the main routine of hatha yoga exercise. So this is also a good yoga exercise for divers where they can improve and control their inhaling and exhaling once they are down there.
Hatha is not considered a physical exercise because it is less strenuous and non-aerobic. You may not sweat a lot if you choose the hatha yoga so this is not good exercise if you want to have a weight loss. It will not increase your heart rate as well.
IYENGAR
It can also be good for beginners or for those people who have stopped exercising for a period of time and want to go back to a daily routine. Iyengar yoga must have some special props, just to name a few, pillows, chairs, blocks and gadgets for stretching. Iyengar yoga will help along with your flexibility and tone your muscles. This is also suggested for those who are experiencing some aches and pains in their joint muscles.
KUNDALI
This is for people who want to have a more upgraded level of yoga exercise. It can develop your physical and mental state. The objective of this yoga exercise is to develop your spine and improve your body and mind connection at the same time. It includes meditations which can help with your relaxation and highlighting on your inhale and exhale exercise.
ASHTANGA
This yoga is the strenuous type of exercise. You will do a lot of quick posing movements. Main objective of this exercise is to develop your stamina and strength. While doing all those fast movements, you also need to exercise the correct inhaling and exhaling.
BIKRAM
This is not suggested ordinarily because it is important that you consult first with your doctor. Asthma or problems in respiratory, different sorts of allergy, medical and physical conditions are important things that you need to to consider before beginning with Bikram yoga. Forceful movements and routines done in a heated room is a great definition of Bikram yoga. Mentally it will let you focus on your exercises.
